April is Autism Awareness Month and Sheriff John Mehr wants Law Enforcement to be better prepared when responding to individuals with Autism.
Thursday May 17th from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Bart Barta will lead AUTISM SAFETY 101 at the new West TN. Regional Training Center, 317 Denmark-Jackson Road, Denmark, TN. 38391.
Law Enforcement & the public are invited to attend and there are no fees.

As you might expect, Bart’s youngest Son has Autism so he is dedicated to “situational awareness.”
Barta is retired after 30 years in Law Enforcement in Florida as a Major in C.I.D. and is very passionate and quite articulate.
