The comic book shop will join comic book shops around the world in giving away free comic books on the world’s largest annual single-day comic book event, which has been held on the first Saturday in May every year since May 4, 2002.

Not only will attendees get free comics, but they can also buy $1.00 back issue comic books, which are located in the large orange bins at Comics Universe, during the store’s $1.00 Back Issues Super Sale!

Thousands of comic books, featuring Captain America, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, The Avengers, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, the X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Justice League, Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob, My Little Ponies, Suicide Squad, Dr. Strange and many others will be available for purchase. This is a great sale for those who are new to comics and those who want to fill in the gaps in their current comic book collections.

Comic Universe also encourages attendees of the event to show up in their favorite superhero costumes, shirts, hats, shoes and any other accessories. We’ll be taking photos and posting them on Comic Universe’s Facebook page.

So, if you want to start a collection or want to fill in the gaps in the collection you already have, Free Comic Book Day is the time to do it!!!

Spread the word, bring your family and friends and come to Comics Universe, 1869 Highway 45 Bypass, Jackson, Tenn., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 10 A.M. for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2018 and the $1.00 BACK ISSUES SUPER SALE!!!
