Bemis Historical Society will hold a regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 19, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bemis Mill Village Museum located at 2 North Missouri Street in Jackson.
Joel Jackson will present a program titled “George R. Wadleigh’s Memories of Bemis, Oct 1900 – 1931.” Wadleigh was an engineer with Jackson Fibre Company, later known as Bemis Bro. Bag Company and Bemis Cotton Mill. Joel will share Wadleigh’s memories of the early years of Bemis.
Anyone interested in the history of Bemis is invited to attend the meeting. The museum is handicap accessible.
