Bemis Historical Society will hold a monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bemis Mill Village Museum located at 2 North Missouri Street in Jackson.
Bemis Historical Society Chairman Joel Jackson will share stories of two tragedies in Bemis. There was an explosion in the Bemis Cotton Mill in 1913. There was a drowning in 1926.
Prospective members and guests are welcome to attend. The museum is handicap accessible.
