How in the hell can you keep people from just ‘ standing on the block ‘ in their own community? I drove passed Lincoln Court today and had to do a U-Turn to take a closer look at this bullshit they’ve posted on one of the corners.
In practice, signs like these, laws/ordinances such as this one gives police a reason to arrest black people, especially black men, simply for their public presence as opposed to any specific criminal act.
