HEALTH DEPARTMENT CONFIRMS SEVEN ADDITIONAL COVID-19 DEATHS, 15,553 CASES OF COVID-19 IN MADISON COUNTY

 

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms seven additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 262 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:

  • 74-year-old male (died 8/17/21)

  • 55-year-old female (died 8/22/21)

  • 50-year-old female (died 8/23/21)

  • 76-year-old female (died 8/25/21)

  • 49-year-old female (died 8/29/21)

  • 54-year-old male (died 8/29/21)

  • 88-year-old male (died 8/31/21)

 

The health department has received positive test results for 345 more cases of COVID-19 since Aug. 31, 2021. We now have 15,553 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

 

Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
