lives!
Why do we gather? In 1981, Carl Perkins and
the Jackson Exchange Club gathered to
establish the first child abuse prevention center
in the state of TN, the fourth in the nation. They
gathered as we do, to make decisions, to
establish traditions, and to protect children. We
gather to show strength, support, and advocate
for families. We gather to celebrate forty years
of hope and healing. We gather simply
because we need one another.
