BIG WEEKEND IN JACKSON AS TEAM RETURNS HOME

Thrifty Thursday kicks off series with Lookouts; Food Truck Friday and Saturday Fireworks as well

 

 

 

Jackson, Tenn. – The Generals return to West Tennessee Thursday to begin a five-game series with division-rival Chattanooga with fan-favorites highlighting the weekend! The opener is a Thrifty Thursday, fans will be treated to a Leaders Credit Union Food Truck Friday and the Hub City Hippos in game two and the second Fireworks Show of 2017 highlights Saturday night!

 

Saturday is MusicFest Night in Jackson! Fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to various concerts throughout the night. Plus, the first 1,000 through the gate will take home a blanket to honor the 2016 Southern League Championship team! Everyone will enjoy a fantastic Fireworks Show after all the action.

 

 

Thursday, April 27 – Thrifty Thursday – 6:05 pm CT

·             The best deal in town is back for the series opener against Chattanooga! Fans can get $2 General Admission Tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, 24-oz. Pepsi products, 16-oz. beer, ice cream and fun zone passes! For just $6 total, fans can upgrade to reserved seats at The Ballpark!

 

Friday, April 28 – Food Truck Friday & Hub City Hippos – 6:05 pm CT

·             Jackson’s newest promotion is back on Friday night! All the best local food trucks will be in The Ballpark down the right field line thanks to Leaders Credit Union! Fans can have some local flavor in addition to the fantastic options at the concession stands.

·             Hip Hip Hooray! The Hub City Hippos make their triumphant return to West Tennessee! The Generals will be wearing their black and red Hippo jerseys and hats as they try to go 2-0 as the Hippos in 2017. At the end of the season, the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off online with proceeds going the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson thanks to Tennessee811. Hippo merchandise can be purchased at the Generals Store!

 

Saturday, April 29 – MusicFest Night & Fireworks – 6:05 pm CT

·             Concert tickets, a blanket giveaway and Fireworks all on Saturday night for game three of the series! On MusicFest Night, fans in Jackson will have the opportunity to take home two tickets to the following shows!

o    CMA Fest, June 8 to June 11 – The Generals will be giving away a pair of four-day passes to CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium in Nashville! Included are tickets to see Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton and much more!

·             The first 1,000 fans through the gate Saturday will take home a blanket commemorating the 2016 Southern League Championship, all thanks to Union University. The Generals took home the second title in franchise history last season.

·             Fireworks! Everyone will be treated to some of the best entertainment West Tennessee has to offer. The Generals will be shooting off Fireworks behind the fence in centerfield after the game against the Lookouts!

 

Monday, May 1 – Education Day – 11:05 am CT

·             It’s Breakfast and Baseball in Jackson. The Generals and Lookouts wrap up their series with a morning contest. Children who come as part of a school group receive free admission! Lunch packs—which include a hot dog, chips, cookie and soda—are available to purchase for only $6!
