GRIZZLIES REGIONAL CARAVAN RETURNING TO JACKSON
Former Kentucky Wildcat Andrew Harrison coming to SEC Night August 26
Jackson, Tenn. – Once again, the Memphis Grizzlies will come to Jackson as part of their Regional Caravan Tour. On SEC Night presented by WBBJ and Jackson Sport & Fitness, the Generals will host former Kentucky standout Andrew Harrison. Along with Harrison will be the team’s mascot Grizz, members of the Grizz Girls and the Claw Crew.
SEC Night presented by WBBJ and Jackson Sport & Fitness is Saturday, August 26 in Jackson as the Generals take on the Chattanooga Lookouts. It is the team’s last home series and Fireworks Show of 2017! The team will be giving away tickets to various SEC football games throughout the night, and early arrivers will get a trucker hat as they walk in!
This is the fifth year in a row the Grizzlies have done a caravan tour through the Mid-South. Fans in Jackson will have the chance to attend autograph sessions, photo opportunities and participate in contests and games with Grizzlies players and personalities. The Grizzlies are also giving away prizes in conjunction with the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Prior to the game in Jackson, the Grizzlies will host a free, one-hour youth basketball clinic with Andrew Harrison from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at West Jackson Baptist Church. Pre-registration is recommended and available online, as each clinic is capped at 100 participants ages 7 to 14. Register online now.
