Jackson, Tennessee (September 14, 2017) — Dr. William “Chip” Scott has joined West Tennessee
Neuroscience and Spine in the practice of neurosurgery. He is one of 13 physicians and advance practice providers in the clinic, located at 700 West Forest Avenue, Suite 200, in the Medical Center Physicians Tower.
Dr. Scott was most recently with the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
“Dr. Scott is a great addition to our neuroscience team and will help further our mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve while providing exceptional and compassionate care,” said Darrell King, Vice President, West Tennessee Medical Group. “We are fortunate that Dr. Scott has joined our health system and know that he will be well received by our patients in Jackson and West Tennessee.” Dr. Scott is a graduate of the University of Maryland, went to medical school at the Medical University of the Americas in the West Indies, and completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
He lives in Jackson with his wife, Ambre, and son David, age 9. They are looking forward to becoming an integral part of the community.
