Madison County CASA Nears Deadline For CASA Chefbox Fundraiser
JACKSON, TN, February 22, 2022 - Madison County CASA is excited to bring back “CASA Chefbox” - an innovative cooking fundraiser on March 10, 2022. CASA Chefbox is sponsored by Financial Advisor Kyle Williams with 401Kyle.com.
CASA Chefbox is a unique cook-at-home event led by Chef, Tanner Wade. After pre-purchasing a “CASA Chefbox,” participants will pick up their box of ingredients at First Presbyterian Church on the afternoon of March 10 and be able to join in on the live cooking demonstration. Chef Wade has developed the menu, hand selected the ingredients, and will lead the interactive, live cooking show on March 10, walking CASA Chefbox supporters through cooking the meal together remotely.
“We are glad to bring back this unique fundraiser that is fun and safe in our current situation,” said Hannah Snowden, Executive Director of Madison County CASA. “Partnering with Chef Tanner Wade, First Presbyterian Church, Grubb’s Grocery for wine, and Financial Advisor Kyle Williams with 401Kyle.com gives us a great opportunity to do that again this year..”
“We did great last year with our first CASA Chefbox event,” said Kevin Adelsberger, Board Member of Madison County CASA. “However, this year we are lagging behind our goal. With Chefbox sales ending this Friday, February 25th, we hope the Jackson community will rise to the occasion and help us meet our goal in these last few days to support Madison County CASA.”
The CASA Chefbox is on sale now through February 25th at www.casachefbox.com. Boxes serving two people are available for a $140 donation to CASA, with wine pairing from Grubb’s Grocery available for an additional cost. The full menu for the evening includes Herb & Dijon Crusted Rack of Lamb, Parmesan Polenta, Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and dessert. CASA Chefbox pick up will be on Thursday, March 10th from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, TN with the live stream event with Chef Tanner Wade premiering on YouTube at 6:30 p.m. (Replay of the event will be available shortly after the event concludes.)
